Photoshop Adobe Photoshop is the professional image editing standard for all photographers, graphics and web designers. During this class students will create a simple magazine cover. You will learn to open, resize and crop an image. History, the navigator, adjusting color, layers, cloning and the text tool will also be covered.

Close-Up Nature Students will look for small subjects on the forest floor, not at the forest. You will look for individual trees and what is at the base of the tree that can be a subject for a photograph. Instructions will be given on how to do close-up photos and where to find the subjects in the forest including birds, bees, butterflies, flowers and plants. Bring a camera and tripod. Held at Seven Ponds Nature Center, 3854 Crawford Road, Dryden. Entrance fee paid to Seven Ponds: free (member), $3 (non-member).

Event Photography: Wedding, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Family Reunions The primary focus of event photography is learning to be skilled in shooting small and large groups of individuals in one frame. The following topics will be covered: How to pose individuals and groups; Photo journalism or how to shoot on the fly, this includes shooting in normal to low light and very dark conditions (students will need to know how to use the manual setting on their cameras); Timing: What time to arrive and when to leave and lastly, what type of equipment does the best job when shooting events.
