- Audio-Visual Equipment
Audio-Visual Equipment is available upon written request. (Please submit your request to: Marsha) Equipment available in Lapeer: Overhead Projectors, VCR & TV, Smart Cart and Slide Projectors. Our request for equipment often exceeds our supply, please state the actual time equipment is needed - not entire class period.
- Bookstore Supplies
The Lapeer Office will sell scantrons, blue books, mini-blues, pencils, and floppy discs throughout the year.
- Class Cancellation Procedure on Saturday
Please leave a message on voice mail, and if possible email students informing them of the cancellation.
- Classroom Tables
The classroom tables may be changed, if needed, but please return them to
the original configuration for the next class. We do not have maintenance staff, so your cooperation is appreciated.
- Coffee
Coffee is regularly available in the Lapeer Office. Cold bottled water is
also available in the refrigerator for $1 (pay in the bowl atop the refrigerator).

- Computer Lab (B215)
Computer Lab (B215) is available for you to reserve on a first come, first serve basis. Please fill out a room request form and return the completed form to Melissa. The request form will be returned to you with approval for usage, or that it is unavailable at this time. Another computer lab (C315) is available for current MCC students to prepare papers for class. Open Lab hours are posted outside our Lapeer lab and office reception area. The single day user password will be posted on the board next to the faculty mailboxes.
- Copier
A copy machine is available in the Lapeer Office for Lapeer class(es) only. If you
have questions on using this copier, please ask one of the student assistants and they will gladly help you.
Students must use a copier located just outside the Public Safety Office. Large
quantities should be ordered through your Division office to be processed
through Printing & Duplication then interoffice mailed to Lapeer.
- DisAbled Students
DisAbled Students who may be attending your class should be referred to DisAbility Services in our Flint Campus (1-800-852-8614) for support. Instructors should not agree to provide special accommodations without the knowledge and support of DisAbility Services staff. If you have a student with a visual disability, feel free to enlarge any of your handouts for their use on our Xerox machine. Ask a staff person to help.
- Faculty Computer
A faculty computer is available in work room, network printer attached.
- Faculty Forms
Various forms are available in the file cabinet under your Lapeer mailbox. Forms
are also available online.
- Field Trips
A form needs to be filled out and signed by you and your Associate Dean. The forms are available in the file cabinet near your Lapeer mailbox. Please give the Lapeer office a copy before mailing to your Flint Campus office.
- Library
Access in Lapeer is at the Marguerite De Angeli Library (east ½ mile).
This Library has many accommodating resources for our MCC students for class
work, as well as, career and job resources and will help students with resume
writing. Please call 664-6971 (Library) to arrange for a tour or to reserve
a room. We can also access our Mott College Library system from our computers here in Lapeer at www.library.mcc.edu.
- Lockers and Bins
Lockers and Bins are available for your use. If you would like to use a locker, you need to supply your own lock. Please remove the lock and the contents at the end of the semester if you are not returning for the following term. We have bins availalble for use they are located under the mailboxes. You may put your name on it with a label and please remove the contents at the end of the semester if you are not returning for the following term.
- Lost and Found
Lost and found is secured by the Lapeer Public Safety Office. Individuals claiming items or finding items should report to the Officer on duty in the Lapeer Public Safety Office.
- Mailbox
Your Lapeer Mailbox is located in lounge area. Mail is picked up and delivered to and from main campus Monday through Friday. Use an Interoffice envelope to forward mail to Flint Campus. They are located next to the fax machine. Our Outgoing mail pouch is located behind the front reception desk.
- Make-up Testing
Make-up Testing for your Mott-Lapeer students can be arranged with full time staff (or Melissa). Testing hours begin at 8:00am and must be completed by 6:00pm Monday - Thursday.
- Office Phone
An office phone is available for business use.Dial the five digit extension for calls made to the Main Campus in Flint. Please use your Phone Card when making personal long distance calls.
- Parking Lots
Parking Lots are located on the North, South, East and West side of the Lapeer building. Parking
map and Driving Directions.
- Refrigerator and Microwave
A refrigerator and microwave are available in the lounge. Items left in the refrigerator will be disposed of on Friday.
- Scantron Machine
The scantron machine for scoring tests is located in the office area.
- Vending Machines
Vending machine selling beverages and snacks is located near the office area.
The office staff sells bottled water for $1.00 each.
- Weather Emergency Procedures
Weather Emergency Procedures have been posted on bulletin boards in each classroom. You will be notified in your classroom in person if there are any weather warnings.
- Wireless Internet
Wireless Internet is now available in the large commons area. Instructions on how to connect to the network will be posted on the board by your faculty mailboxes. Instead of logging onto the student network you will log on to the staff network.
