When placing the logo in your application be sure to keep the current size constraints on both the height and width if you are changing the size of the logo. Although we prefer you not alter the logo some instances may require you to do so.
Use of basic image editing software like Windows Paint will help to guarantee that pixel interpolation is also corrected with the new size change.
For example, if the original logo is 76px / 1.056in high by 200px / 2.778in wide and you need the width at 100px / 1.389in be sure to reduce the height by the same proportion which in this case would be 50% or ½ so instead of 76px / 1.056in you would use 38px / .528in. The final logo would be 38px / .528in high by 100px / 1.389in wide.
Scaling the logos by stretching the image by pulling the image handles with your mouse either larger or smaller than the original size is not recommended because this will cause the logo to look fuzzy or pixelated. |
