Mott Community College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (HLC/NCA) through the Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP).
Since 2005, MCC has used AQIP as institutional accreditation system as well as a strategic planning and continuous quality improvement process. As an AQIP institution, MCC regularly analyses its efforts in Helping Students Learn and Accomplishing Other Distinctive Objectives. A number of ongoing processes ensure MCC’s continuous work on quality principles, including an annual Action Project cycle, a 4-year Strategy Cycle, and Reaffirmation of Accreditation every 7 years.
MCC consciously places student learning and continuous quality improvement at the center of its policies and processes. These pages contain a wealth of materials related to MCC’s ongoing quality efforts. This continuous quality improvement approach will ensure that MCC maintains and improves its plans and goals in alignment with the expectations of HLC/NCA.
