The Women's Basketball program at MCC has become extremely competitive and a factor in the community college scene at the national level. The Lady Bears compete in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association's Eastern Conference, as well as Region XII of the National Junior College Athletic Association. Each year the team posts outstanding achievements including the following Lady Bear Titles:

Head Coach Letitia Hughley returns as Head Coach for a fifth  season.  She is supported by a well-seasoned staff: Lloyd Nicholson is in his 7th season as the assistant coach for the Lady Bears.
