Mott Community College's Commuity Education Department has entry-level programs such as the Direct Care Worker/Community Mental Health Program as well as continuing education classes for Nursing Assistants, Medical Career Certificate and Healthcare Professional programs.

The Department of Continuing Education also has supportive services for direct care worker employers and enrollees in the Health Programs.

The program areas below each have specific set of required courses, however, any class may be taken individually.

Certified Nurses Aid Testing
Everything is new at the Flint Test Site! A new location, new staff and we are now open! The Thompson Prometric in conjunction with Mott Community College is pleased to announce the official opening of the Michigan Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Program (Nurse Aide Training) Regional Test Site in the Flint area. Healthcare Professional Programs
In partnership with Condensed Curriculum International, Inc. (CCI), Mott Community College Division of Continuing Education is offering a variety of Health Care Professional Training Programs. Available to both working adults interested in a new career and current health care professionals, these exciting programs will help students prepare for the numerous jobs available to health care staff and professionals!

Medical Career Certificate Program
This course prepares students to enter into the job market with the necessary skills to meet the demands in the healthcare field. This includes lecture and computerized instructions in medical billing and coding; medical terminology, practice management and more.

Direct Care Worker/Community Mental Health Training
Get your Direct Care Worker Certification along with your CPR and First Aid certification. This program also offers Job Placement Assistance. Funding is available for eligible individuals.
